Story

Raghu started his career as a marketing executive/consultant in various media houses in Kerala. Back in 2007, radio jockeys were not as popular as we see today; so when media companies in Kerala decided to tap into the RJ market, he took hold of the opportunity and applied for the same. It was pure happenstance when he got selected as a radio jockey with Malayala Manorama’s FM network Radio Mango 91.9. It was not his aim in life to be a radio jockey; he applied on a whim but his natural talkative persona was exactly what was needed to be the perfect RJ. He holds the title of being the first private radio jockey in Kerala.

He then shifted to Dubai to progress his career as an RJ. He was working there when he heard of Bigg Boss Season 1, which caught his attention just enough to apply as a contestant for Season 2. On the words of encouragement by a friend of his in the film industry, he got an audition where he proved his mettle which led him to be selected as a contestant for the show.

He became a household name among Malayalis after his entry into Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2. He went on to become a finalist of the show as well. He had quit his job as a radio jockey before joining the Bigg Boss house and post the show he now has many projects under the pipeline. Besides being a radio jockey, he is also an actor, voice-over artist who also dabbles in poetry writing. He considers himself as a visual media enthusiast and is a budding social media influencer as well.
